{"id":2924,"date":"2022-03-30T04:50:53","date_gmt":"2022-03-30T04:50:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/indasocial.com\/INDA\/?p=2924"},"modified":"2024-03-10T21:37:37","modified_gmt":"2024-03-10T21:37:37","slug":"purismo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/indasocial.com\/INDA\/2022\/03\/30\/purismo\/","title":{"rendered":"PURISMO: Piedra, madera, hilo, arcilla, tierra e im\u00e1genes en papel se apoderan del espacio."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-very-dark-gray-color\"><em>Purismo<\/em> es una exposici\u00f3n realizada en Tlaxcala #103 cque finaliza el 12 de marzo de 2022, durante un horario de lunes a s\u00e1bado en un horario de 11:00 a 19:00 horas y los domingos de 12:00 a 16:00 horas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-very-dark-gray-color\">La exposici\u00f3n, comisionada por <em><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/alratitostudio\/\" target=\"_blank\">Al Ratito Studio<\/a><\/em> muestra 19 artistas nacionales e internacionales pertenecientes al dise\u00f1o contempor\u00e1neo. El espacio que contiene estos objetos, muebles y fotos es tan interesante como las piezas mismas. Un gimnasio abandonado en la colonia Roma Sur, de los a\u00f1os 60. Este espacio alberga la posibilidad, la presencia a trav\u00e9s de la ausencia, el di\u00e1logo obligado con todo aquello que seduce e intimida. La explosi\u00f3n realizada en un antiguo gimnasio abandonado, creado en su momento exclusivamente para mujeres, se ha reutilizado para dar cabida a piezas desprovistas de a\u00f1adiduras, fuertes en su honestidad y simplicidad, respondiendo as\u00ed a una coherencia narrativa y espacial. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-very-dark-gray-color\">Raza, g\u00e9nero, identidad, sexualidad conforman un recorrido entre la imperfecci\u00f3n y el detalle, que acompa\u00f1a a los y las asistentes de principio a fin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-very-dark-gray-color\">Entrevistamos a Nadia Guitteau curadora de PURISMO y esto fue lo que nos contest\u00f3: <em>(Entrevista en Ingl\u00e9s) <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tell us more about the name of this exposition and the concept behind this?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-very-dark-gray-color\">It&#8217;s about purism, honesty, pure forms, the idea of \u200b\u200bfemininity, fashionable figures, and you have the muxes all related to the idea of gender. And what is gender, we always try to seduce and intimidate because there is a different shape of lines that are very seductive because I work black. It&#8217;s really about the honesty in the forms, rather than architecture talk like the rest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">This exposition has a line between monochronism and minimalism, but is there something more behind it? <\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-very-dark-gray-color\">Yes, there is a narrative that goes through all these pieces some of them are from different artist, some of them has a present minimalist, other one&#8217;s textures, and other ones has a more great architecture component on them. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-very-dark-gray-color\">But also furniture comes along with them, and it is completely along with this arch component, for example, there are some pieces that are created like this, has a flow, and it&#8217;s like reading a book.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">We see pictures in the expositions that are feminine figures, is there a narrative behind also that complements PURISMO?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-very-dark-gray-color\">For me the \u00abMuxes\u00bb it&#8217;s like the third gender so it&#8217;s not quite women it&#8217;s not quite women, the \u00abMuxe\u00bb culture located in south california it&#8217;s being documented since the 80s so they&#8217;re not Mexican neither American it&#8217;s about the mixture. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">We have Mexican designers included in this exposition? <\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-very-dark-gray-color\">We have 19 designers who are Mexicans, except for people who are from L.A., Spain, United States, Colombia, and other one who is French-American but currently living in Mexico City. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Is there going to be more expositions from Al Ratito Studio?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-very-dark-gray-color\">Yes, we are open to make another show still related to the purity of things, but we are going to move forward with other ones.
